I had a catch up with Ecology skincare owner and entrepreneur Crystal Fieldhouse. Crystal having had her own skin condition and challenges makes a good point, how regardless of whether we actually have a skin condition many of us don't feel comfortable in our own skin.
Crystal has super sensitive skin and struggled with acne and dermatitis for over 15 years.
When she couldn't find a moisturiser that met her personal standards and didn’t irritate her skin or flare up her skin issues, Crystal started making her own, with great results. But knowing the frustration, shame and embarrassment that many people with problem skin go through, Crystal wanted to help others in the same situation as herself.
Which led her to spend 12 months researching and developing her unique range of Ecology moisturising creams.
The Ecology Creams are designed to mimic our skin’s natural oils, they are simple, hand made and definitely outside the box of conventional skincare ...and the amazing thing is they work! Crystal has helped hundreds of people all over the world, who report softer, smoother, calmer looking skin.
It started with moisturisers and now Ecology Skincare offers a range of simple, natural skincare products that are perfect for people with sensitive skin and skin issues like eczema, dermatitis and premature aging.
Crystal certainly does feel comfortable now having just launched a new wholistic and natural skin range 'for him' with My Kitchen Rules host Pete Evans.
